Location: Greater London

A leading investment bank is seeking a Marketing Events Assistant to support the planning and execution of a busy programme of internal and external events. This is an excellent junior role perfect for a receptionist looking for a change into marketing and who enjoys fast‑paced work, tight coordination, and learning the mechanics of high‑quality event delivery within financial services.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Support the coordination and delivery of multiple events running in parallel
  • Assist with logistics: venues, catering, AV, registrations and event materials
  • Track timelines, tasks and deadlines across several live projects
  • Provide on‑site support during events to ensure smooth delivery
  • Liaise with internal teams to support speakers, agendas and briefing materials
  • Manage invitations, registrations and attendee communication

    Maintain accurate attendee lists and post‑event records
  • Support event follow‑up, reporting and feedback collation
  • Keep event information up to date across internal systems
  • Help track budgets and process supplier invoices
  • Use trackers and checklists to manage activity during busy periods
  • Flag challenges early and adapt when priorities shift

  • Professional services or financial services experience is helpful, but not essential
Hours
  • Full‑time, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
