By joining our Finance Function Support team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact—supporting SME clients with their company secretarial compliance needs.

  • Providing routine company secretarial support to a portfolio of selected client companies, including maintenance of statutory registers on Diligent Entities, preparation and filing of the annual Confirmation Statement, preparation and filing of documentation relating to transactions categorised as Level 1 and, in due course, progressing to those transactions categorised as Level 2 under supervision.
  • Incorporating new companies and drafting documents to attend to post‑incorporation formalities.
  • Managing work in progress and billing, under supervision, in respect of your allocated client portfolio and as requested by the management team from time to time.
  • Providing administrative support to the team, including Companies House filings, lodging documents with HMRC Stamp Office and helping to ensure that our clients comply with the Companies Act 2006.
What we are looking for:

We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:

  • An interest in Company Law, Company Secretarial Practice or Anti‑Money Laundering legislation and the desire to develop a career in Company Secretarial Services.
  • Education to at least A Level standard or equivalent, with level 5 or higher grade GCSE English Language and Maths.
  • Ability to work on one’s own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience of Microsoft Office (with high competency in both Word and Excel).
What we can offer you:

We recognise that our people are our most important assets. That’s why we offer a flexible reward and benefits package that will help you have fulfilling experience, both in and out of work.

  • Flexible working.
  • 25 Days Holiday (with the option of purchasing additional days).
  • Lifestyle, Health, and Wellbeing including financial wellbeing benefits such as financial tools, electric car scheme and access to a virtual GP.
  • Access to a suite of 300+ courses on demand developed by our inhouse Talent Development team.

At RSM, we want to create a strong sense of belonging so that people of all identities, backgrounds, and cultures feel they can bring their true self to work. Our clients come from all walks of life. We aim to achieve that same diversity of background, experience and perspective in our own teams, so that we can genuinely understand our client's needs.

Diverse teams bring a broader range of ideas and insights to work. That's why we're working together to ensure our firm's principles and processes support a firm culture that embraces difference and strengthens inclusion.
