Patent Formalities Administrator; FTC

Position: Patent Formalities Administrator (FTC) &ndash
We are partnering with a major firm of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys who are seeking a Patent Formalities Administrator to join their support team on a full-time contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role within a busy, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Handling incoming post and electronic correspondence, updating records and ensuring deadlines are accurately monitored.

* Preparing, filing and sending documentation, and supporting post-filing and general case administration.

* Liaising with clients, attorneys and external partners to support the smooth running of patent matters.

* Providing day-to-day administrative support to attorneys within the IP team.

Applicants should have prior IP experience within a Patent Records/Formalities department, be well organised with strong attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Office is essential, while familiarity with document management systems and a CIPA Administrator qualification would be advantageous.
