Fire Remediation Coordinator
- Hourly Rate: £21.86 PAYE / £27.76 Ltd/Umbrella
- Location:
Hybrid (2 days in office, flexible) - Job Type: Temporary (until end of March with possible extension)
We are seeking a Fire Remediation Coordinator to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance and safety in our housing projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in housing or leasehold management and/or fire safety, although candidates from other sectors who can demonstrate the ability to deliver on the role's requirements are also welcome.
Day-to-dayof the role:
- Manage and meticulously update the fire remediation team's database to ensure data accuracy.
- Organise and produce data for meetings, and record minutes.
- Serve as the primary contact for managing all fire remediation work requests and information dissemination.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of systems, registers, records, and databases related to fire safety remediation, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage the fire remediation team email inbox, ensuring timely responses in line with organisational standards.
- Investigate and respond to complaints, analyse trends, and produce reports.
- Liaise with teams and contractors to arrange access for essential works and testing, maintaining a client-friendly approach.
- Provide administrative support to the Fire Remediation Team as required.
- Manage service requests and queries from various stakeholders.
- Process purchase orders and invoices for contractors, ensuring timely payments.
- Organise bulk mailings to residents and stakeholders about planned fire remediation safety works.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of the regulatory environment relating to fire safety remediation.
- Experience with lease agreements is advantageous.
- Proficient in Excel and experienced in maintaining SharePoint data libraries.
- Comfortable with various IT systems; knowledge of 'We Buy' invoice processing is desirable.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and adapt to changing regulations and delivery plans.
- Excellent administrative, organisational, and diary management skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of people.
- Experience in collating information from various sources to create and update project plans.
- Experience dealing with diverse stakeholders and customers in complex environments.
