Project Coordinator - Building Automation Systems

Our client is a leading provider of building and energy management systems, seeking a Project Coordinator to join their team based in South London. Position Overview
As Project Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting project teams to deliver technical submittals, drawings, and health and safety documentation on time. You'll manage site-specific document control, track project progress, and report status updates to senior management. This role is essential to ensuring projects run smoothly and all teams follow standard procedures. You'll also support less experienced colleagues, contributing to a collaborative workplace where continuous learning is valued.
Responsibilities
Produce and manage technical submittals, drawings, requests for information (RFIs), and health and safety returns
Maintain accurate site-specific document control systems and track project accomplishments
Prepare project schedules and provide regular status reports to senior management
Ensure all project operations follow established standard procedures and protocols
Support and mentor less experienced team members, sharing knowledge and best practice
Coordinate with project teams and design staff to meet project deadlines and deliverables
Identify and resolve document control issues promptly to keep projects on track Requirements
CSCS Card (required)
Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Previous experience in document control on construction projects (desirable but not essential)
Organised approach to managing information and project schedules
