Overview
Office Manager (Part-Time) – N4, North London – 3 days per week (term time) – Start ASAP – Salary:
Competitive, dependent on experience. We are a friendly and inclusive primary school looking for an experienced Office Manager to support the day-to-day running of the school office and work closely with the Headteacher, School Business Manager, and wider staff team.
- Manage the daily operations of the school office, ensuring smooth and efficient administration.
- Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external agencies.
- Oversee pupil records, attendance, admissions support, and data management.
- Support HR administration, including staff records and recruitment paperwork.
- Manage correspondence, diaries, and communications.
- Support finance administration, including purchase orders and invoice processing.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed, including visitor checks and record-keeping.
- Previous experience as a School Office Manager, Senior Administrator, or similar role within a school.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident use of school management systems (e.g. SIMS, Arbor, Scholar Pack or similar).
- Professional, calm, and approachable manner.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Desirable:
Experience in a primary school setting, knowledge of attendance procedures and local authority requirements, familiarity with finance and HR processes within a school.
