About the RoleOne of our private clients is looking to appoint an experienced, highly organised Senior Leadership Assistant. For the first 9-12 months, the role will cover the Executive Assistant to the CEO/Founder during maternity leave. Thereafter, the position will transition to providing comprehensive, hands‑on support to five members of the Senior Leadership Team.
The organisation is a philanthropic, non‑profit start‑up of around 30 people, working in a collaborative, holistic and non‑hierarchical environment. Candidates must genuinely resonate with these values, and demonstrate an open‑minded, holistic mindset.
Key Responsibilities- Managing complex and overlapping calendars across multiple senior leaders
- Acting as a central coordination point for scheduling, communication, and information sharing
- Organising files, documents, and leadership materials to a high standard
- Supporting building management and ensuring all operational aspects of the office run smoothly
- Assisting with ad hoc projects and leadership initiatives as required
- Supporting the planning and coordination of meetings and events
- Providing occasional travel support when needed
- Maintaining a calm, solutions‑focused approach in a fast‑moving environment
This is a genuinely hands‑on role, suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in operational excellence, and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves when required.
About YouYou will bring:
- 2-3+ years' experience in an Assistant role
- An undergraduate degree
- Proven ability to prioritise, juggle multiple work streams, and adapt to changing needs
- Exceptional written communication and proofreading skills
- Experience supporting the planning and coordination of events
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational standards
- High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills
- A flexible, hands‑on working style with a "no job is too big or too small" mindset
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- A collaborative, positive attitude and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, purpose‑led organisation
