Customer service assistant and Administrator

Overview

We are a busy and dynamic office providing home-to-school transport services for Kent County Council (KCC). Our team is dedicated to ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient transport for children across the region. We are looking for a motivated Customer Service & Administrative Assistant to join our team and help keep our office running smoothly.

• Answer incoming calls, emails, and messages in a professional and friendly manner.
• Receive, log, and respond to complaints or concerns from parents, schools, or drivers.
• Relay messages accurately and promptly to the relevant office staff.
• Maintain clear and precise records of all communications.
• Support general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document management.
• Assist in coordinating schedules and transport arrangements as needed.
• Ensure that all messages and instructions are passed on correctly to prevent miscommunication.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Basic IT skills, including MS Office and email systems.
• Previous experience working with children or vulnerable adults is preferred.
• A proactive and organized approach to work.
