We are supporting a leading global investment management firm in the appointment of an experienced Float Senior Administrative Assistant / EA to join its high‑performing global support function. This is a trusted, highly visible role supporting senior investment professionals within a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. The successful individual will provide seamless, proactive administrative and technical support, working closely with senior stakeholders while partnering with other senior assistants to ensure continuity and excellence of service across the business.
Discretion, professionalism and sound judgement are essential.
- Provide high‑level administrative support to senior managers and their teams, maximising their time and effectiveness
- Manage complex calendars, scheduling internal and external meetings, client visits and committee sessions
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, including detailed multi‑trip itineraries and expense processing
- Act as a key point of contact and intermediary on behalf of senior stakeholders, managing information flow and communications
- Prepare correspondence, presentations, meeting materials, agendas, notes and committee papers
- Manage sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion
- Lead and support ad‑hoc projects, reports, databases and process improvements as required
- Troubleshoot issues, investigate anomalies in data or systems and liaise with relevant teams to resolve them
- Work collaboratively within the administrative support team to provide seamless back‑up coverage
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, processes and ways of working across the function
- Experience in a senior or executive‑level administrative role within a fast‑paced corporate environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Confident communicator with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Highly proactive, self‑directed and comfortable working with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgement when managing sensitive matters
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and One Note
- Ability to work effectively within a global, virtual team environment
- Professional presence with a positive, tactful and client‑focused approach
- Experience with in financial services or investment management
- Familiarity with investment or financial software applications
- Minimum of 3 A‑levels
