Position Overview
Position:
Executive Assistant (EA) to CEO/Co‑founder
Location:
London Office (Holborn) – in‑office required, no remote/hybrid option.
Schedule:
Full time (Mon‑Fri, 8 am to 4:30 pm)
Salary:
Highly competitive, commensurate with experience (e.g., £40,000‑£55,000+ per annum)
PURSEOUL is the market‑leading Korean cosmetics specialist in the UK, operating thriving e‑commerce and retail stores. We need an exceptional and proactive Executive Assistant who will serve as the key operational partner to our CEO/Co‑founder and help maximise the CEO’s effectiveness during a period of significant international growth.
We require a true strategic gatekeeper, not just an administrator, and a genuine passion for the beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Gatekeeping & Priority Management:
Proactively manage and protect the CEO’s diary, ensuring focus on strategic decision‑making. - Complex Travel Planning & Logistics:
Independently manage detailed international and domestic travel arrangements (flights, accommodation, visas, itineraries), often on short notice. - Executive Communications:
Act as the primary liaison between the CEO and internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders. Prepare, draft and proofread high‑level documents, reports, and correspondence. - Meeting Management:
Organise, prepare materials for, and attend high‑level meetings. Accurately take and distribute minutes, and track action points to ensure accountability and deadlines are met. - Project & Initiative Support:
Provide research and insights for strategic projects (e.g., new market entry, partnerships). Monitor progress and give clear performance updates to the CEO. - Financial Administration:
Accurately prepare, process and reconcile the CEO’s expenses, ensuring full compliance with company policies. - Confidentiality:
Handle sensitive commercial and personal information with absolute discretion.
- Frequent Travel:
Flexibility to travel internationally and domestically, including occasional overnights and travel between the Central London office and West London warehouse. - Team
Collaboration:
Dynamic, fast‑paced environment; willingness to assist with wider company activities (e.g., supporting new store openings) is highly valued.
- Experience:
Minimum of 3+ years supporting a C‑level Executive (CEO, Managing Director, or Partner) in a fast‑paced retail, e‑commerce or high‑growth sector. - Industry Passion:
Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for the beauty industry. - Communication:
Exceptional written and verbal skills in English (UK). - Logistics:
Valid passport and proactive approach to complex international travel. - Discretion:
Impeccable attention to detail with a proven record of maintaining confidentiality. - Software Proficiency:
Advanced MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and cloud‑based systems. - Bonus Skill:
Any level of spoken or written Korean is a significant advantage.
