Job Title: Apprentice Administration Assistant
The RoleWe are looking for an efficient and methodical individual to provide general administrative support to the firm. This role would suit an enthusiastic and pro‑active person, who is keen to learn and develop their administration experience in a top international law firm.
You must also be available to attend an in‑person assessment day on Tuesday 10 February 2026.
Please note this is a vocational apprenticeship position designed for candidates without a university degree; therefore applicants with a bachelor's degree or higher qualification will NOT be eligible for this role.
Areas of focus and responsibilities- General administrative support to relevant division
- Assist with standard client file opening, conflict checks and related processes
- Assist with the monthly billing process, including producing billing guides and transferring time
- Preparing finance forms
- Preparing letters and enclosures ready for post, including couriers
- Photocopy, scan and print documents using the photocopiers/multi‑functional devices (MFDs)
- Scan/e‑file documents where required
- Assist with keeping e‑files (and, occasionally, hard copy filing) up to date
- Data entry using the firm's client relationship management system, Inter Action (i.e., entering details from business cards etc)
- Input information into Excel spreadsheets
- Assist other teams or support departments
- Any other ad hoc duties as required
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage self and prioritise workload effectively, with the ability to multi‑task
- Organised and accurate with a high level of attention to detail
- Computer literate
- Flexible attitude, enthusiastic and self‑motivated
- Commitment to support others
- Ability to use own initiative
- Excellent timekeeping
- Good work ethic
- Commitment to complete CILEX Level 3 Business Admin qualification
- Core working hours: 9:30am – 5:30pm
- Educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent), Maths and English (minimum)
- 12‑week probation period
- 4 weeks' notice period
