Assistant Manager - Accounts & Tax

Overview

Our client is a fast‑growing and reputable accountancy firm based in Mayfair, London. They work with a number of high‑profile clients from the entertainment industry, including actors, TV presenters, talent agencies and theatres, as well as clients from luxury retail, property and other sectors.

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements prepared under FRS 102 1a and FRS 105
• Preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns and personal tax returns
• Supervising a team of senior accountants, semi‑senior accountants, trainees and bookkeepers
• Communicating with clients and responding to their queries

• Minimum of 4 years experience at a UK accountancy firm
• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Experience of reviewing statutory accounts prepared by juniors

Ideal candidates will have a background in practice as an Accounts & Tax Assistant Manager / Supervisor or a Senior Accountant with experience of looking after a portfolio of clients.
