The RoleWe are currently looking for a full-time Billing Co-ordinator to join the support team at our London office. The role will partner with the entire accounting team to achieve our common goals, one of which is accuracy in project setup and billing that leads to accurate reporting. An eye for detail and good Excel skills are a must.
The full-time role is based at our London office but hybrid working is possible. Part-time applications will also be considered.
The position will require someone who is hands on and well organized in their work. A strong communicator, both verbal and written, along with good listening skills. The successful candidate will be adaptable, enjoy learning new processes and systems with a can-do approach to all tasks.
Responsibilities- Set up new projects and monitor the status of existing projects in the accounting system
- Maintain project budget, change orders and other contract modification, approvals, and any additional service-related to billing
- Compile, analyze, & process project bills to clients monthly with appropriate backup (timesheets, expenses, sub-consultants, payroll journals, other documents)
- Work closely with project managers to ensure that invoices are accurate and comply with corporate guidelines
- Maintain project billing folder and accounting system to ensure all invoices and other project related documents are readily accessible for project managers & accounting department
- Assists project managers with monitoring the financial health of projects
- Communicate professionally with project managers, clients and other staff providing accurate information and respond timely to inquiries and completion of assignments
- Investigate billing errors, resolve discrepancies and reconcile the account
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Provide support to other accounting staff
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with a positive and approachable manner.

- Able to multi-task with a demonstrated willingness to learn.
- Acts responsibly to conserve energy and reduce waste in the office environment
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office suite programs – Word, Outlook, and Excel.
