Sheridan Maine is partnering with a well-established accounting services firm in Central London to recruit a Partner with Responsible Individual (RI) status
. This is a senior leadership role, ideal for an experienced accounting professional looking to combine client-facing work with regulatory oversight responsibilities.

• Act as the Responsible Individual (RI) for the firm, ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards across audit, accounting, and advisory services.
• Lead and manage a portfolio of clients, providing expert advice on accounting, audit, and regulatory matters.
• Oversee quality control processes, internal reviews, and compliance reporting to professional bodies.
• Support and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional development.
• Contribute to the strategic growth of the firm through client acquisition, service development, and leadership within the partnership.

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with significant experience in public practice.
• Proven experience holding or operating under RI responsibilities, or equivalent regulatory accountability.
• Strong technical knowledge across audit, accounting, and compliance matters.
• Excellent client management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Commercially aware, with the ability to balance client needs and regulatory obligations.
