If so, we are looking for a talented Accountant to join our team! Uptitude is a data and AI consultancy start-up with a global client base, headquartered in London, UK. We are hiring for a full-time, on-site Accountant position in our Gurugram office.

As our Accountant, you’ll take ownership of core financial activities for the Indian entity while supporting cross-border compliance and reporting. Experience with Indian accounting standards is essential, and familiarity with UK accounting principles will be considered a strong advantage.

You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, statutory compliance, and timely reporting playing a key role in internal controls and audit readiness.

• 3–5 years of experience managing company accounts end to end.
• Proficient in Indian tax filings, employee payroll, vendor payments, and reconciliation.
• Comfortable managing multiple accounts and reporting to international stakeholders.
• Knowledge of UK accounting standards (IFRS, UK VAT, HMRC reporting) and Xero is a strong advantage.
• Experience in supporting statutory audits and internal financial controls.
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis capabilities.
• Role based in Gurugram, India. Head office in London, UK.
