The successful Audit and Accounts Manager will oversee a diverse client portfolio including SMEs and owner-managed businesses, leading audits from planning through to completion and reviewing statutory accounts prepared under FRS 102 and FRS 105.
You will work closely with Partners, contribute to business development initiatives, and mentor junior staff to support their technical and professional growth. This position would suit a qualified ACA or ACCA professional seeking a senior leadership role within a progressive UK accountancy practice in Rushden. Key Responsibilities Managing a portfolio of audit and accounts clients within a UK accountancy practice Leading audit assignments from planning to completion Reviewing statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP (FRS 102/105) Supervising, mentoring, and developing junior team members Building and maintaining strong client relationships Supporting Partners with business development and practice growth initiatives Requirements ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) Must have a minimum of 4 years post qualification experience working within a UK Practice environment Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards Proven experience managing audits and reviewing accounts Excellent communication and leadership skills Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service
