Portfolio Accountant
Location:
Home‑Based (London Portfolio – attendance to London office on occasion)
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30

- Significant experience in an accounting role with a recognised qualification (CIMA, ACCA, AAT) or equivalent by experience.
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of accounting records for designated portfolios, preferably in property or similar sector.
- Manage and mentor staff and support senior management.
- Proficiency in accounting systems (Propman software desirable) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Prepare year‑end accounts, re‑allocation of costs, and variances.
- Participate in audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Prepare profit and loss, balance sheet and other reports for auditors.
- Monitor cash flow and manage outstanding creditors.
- Strong verbal and written communication – interpret and prepare complex reports and plans.
- Manage surplus and deficit charges onto lessee accounts and service charge demands.
- Independent property management experience – knowledge of service charge and related processes.
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with statutory accounts filed at Companies House and HMRC.
