Sheridan Maine is working in partnership with a well‑established and growing accountancy practice in North London to recruit an Audit Semi‑Senior. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional and supportive team, working on a varied client portfolio while developing your audit and accounts experience.

The Audit Semi‑Senior will assist with audits and accounts preparation, supporting managers and partners in delivering high‑quality services. You will gain exposure to a wide range of clients and have the opportunity to develop technical skills within a structured, collaborative team environment.

• Assisting in the planning and delivery of audit assignments.
• Preparing audit working papers and supporting documentation.
• Helping with accounts preparation and management accounts.
• Liaising with clients to obtain information and resolve queries.
• Supporting senior team members and reviewing junior staff work where appropriate.
• Ensuring compliance with auditing standards, firm procedures, and deadlines.

• Part‑qualified or working towards ACA or ACCA.
• Experience with in audit and accounts preparation in an accountancy practice.
• Good technical knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards.
• Strong communication skills and a professional client‑facing approach.
