Senior Auditor

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team. You will play a key role in leading audits, managing teams, and supporting the development of junior staff.

• Lead audits under the guidance of a Manager or Principal.
• Manage on-site audit teams.
• Plan audits, perform completion procedures, and prepare management letters.
• Assist in supervising and providing work-based training for junior staff.
• Support Audit Managers with delegated tasks, including planning, completion, and file reviews.
• Mid-corporates and SMEs.
• Larger groups, including UK subsidiaries of overseas parents.
• Specialist audits:
  Pension Schemes, Charities & Not-for-Profit Organisations, Solicitors, FCA regulated entities.

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Minimum 2 years  audit experience within a UK accountancy firm.
• IT competent and familiar with computerised accounting packages.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work on own initiative.
• Able to prioritise effectively and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Full-time, Monday to Friday (hybrid working).

Salary: £40,000-£50,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Must have the right to work in the UK.

• Annual Christmas bonus (equivalent to 1 week s salary).
• Death in service cover (4x salary).
• Annual leave: 25 days per annum (pro rata), plus 3 days at Christmas/New Year.
