Balance Sheet Accountant

Balance Sheet Accountant| 3-Month Contract | Immediate Start | £350 to £500 per day

Altum Consulting are recruiting for a Balance Sheet Accountant to join a large property business based in central London. This role is for an initial 3-month period and applying candidates must be available immediately.

• Perform an independent audit on balance sheet reconciliation matrix, including verification as to the appropriateness of the current process.
• Liaise with various internal stakeholders as part of the analysis, acting as the go to for the project.
• Summarise any actions and associated accounting entries required to align the balance sheet between systems and individual accounting records.
• Review current processes and controls to ensure that they are optimal and operating effectively.
• Make recommendations to ensure all balance sheets transactions and processes are performed in compliance with applicable group accounting policies.

• Qualified Accountant.
• Prior experience of leading balance sheet reconciliation projects (multi-currency and multiple subsidiary relationships essential).
• Experience working in large complex businesses.
• Available immediately/short notice period.
