Sheridan Maine is partnering with a leading financial services organisation based in Canary Wharf to recruit a Compensation Accountant on an 11-month maternity cover basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant to join a dynamic team and make an immediate impact. Our client is ideally looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.

You will work closely with the Head of Compensation Accounting, providing support across all aspects of payroll and LLP accounting, as well as related reporting. This is a hands‑on role within a collaborative finance team, offering exposure to complex accounting and reporting processes.

• Supporting payroll and LLP accounting processes.
• Assisting with related financial reporting.
• Ensuring accuracy and compliance in all compensation accounting activities.
• Working closely with the wider finance team to deliver results.

• Previous Compensation and Payroll Accounting experience especially within Limited Liability Partnership would be advantageous.
• A good understanding of UK personal tax together with reporting requirements.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent accounting, analytical and reporting skills.
