Audit and Accounts Manager

029 to Friday, 35 hours per week, 9.30am - 5.30pm

Holiday - 20 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) increasing with service period

You will be responsible for the delivery of audit and assurance services to a range of clients and will therefore need to be highly technically proficient, a trusted expert in this field and be competent to go out and win work and generate new business leads. You will work for one or more of the senior managers and partners, assisting others with certain clients as required.

You will work on a number of clients in different sectors, maintaining and developing the strong relationships which are key to the firm's growth.

• You qualified within a firm of accountants and have several yearsท้าย post‑qualification experience, including experience as a Manager in practice.
• You are up to date with current auditing and accounting issues and conversant with relevant auditing and accounting standards. Your responsibilities will include delivering high‑quality audits to our clients in the SME sector with support from the wider audit team.
• You are confident with good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• You have developed excellent client liaison skills. These are necessary as you are required to build relationships with the clients so that you are the person to manage their expectations, their audit, and our team to deliver robust, high‑quality audits.
• You have experience working on a wide range of clients and you have excellent technical knowledge, e.g. UK GAAP, FRS
  102, IFRS and ISA's.
• You have good all‑round tax knowledge, especially corporation tax, and ideally some trusts and charity knowledge.
• You have strong technical skills as you will be completing file reviews on a range of audit clients, utilising your existing technical knowledge and experience whilst developing your skills further and ensuring quality standards are met in the department.
• You are tech‑savvy, proficient in all Microsoft packages. Knowledge of CCH would be advantageous alongside Audit Automation, Cortax, Inflo, SAP, Xero, Sage & Quickbooks.
