Set in the heart of the city, overlooking Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, the Four Seasons Hotel London at Tower Bridge is a five‑star hotel and a landmark building. It has 100 rooms, 41 residential apartments, a stunning ballroom, 5 meeting rooms, a destination spa and a food and beverage offering including Mei Ume and Rotunda.

About the Position

The Accounting Assistant reports to the Staff Accountant and is responsible for assisting him/her in managing the daily financial operations of the hotel relating to accounts payable and other administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Invoice Processing:
    Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy, ensuring proper coding and compliance with company policies.
  • Payment Management:
    Prepare and execute timely payments to vendors.
  • AP Aging Balance Reconciliation:
    Maintain and reconcile accounts payable ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved.
  • Vendor Communication:
    Respond to vendor inquiries, resolve payment issues, and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
  • Compliance and Internal Controls:
    Maintain effective internal controls, ensure proper documentation, filing, and adherence to regulatory requirements for audits.
  • Financial Reporting and Month‑End Processes:
    Assist with the month‑end process and with preparation of financial statements, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or equivalent experience (preferred).
  • Good knowledge of accounting and finance.
  • Working knowledge of hotel systems and operations (preferred).
  • Experience with Birchstreet, Opera PMS, F&B POS, SUN systems (preferred).
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage own tasks, as well as working effectively in a cross‑functional team.
