Overview

Our client, an established and people-focused UK accountancy and advisory firm is looking for a Technical Audit Senior to join its growing Audit & Accounts Quality and Technical team based in London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about audit standards, financial reporting & driving technical excellence across a collaborative firm.

About the Role

As Technical Audit Senior, you will play a pivotal role in supporting audit quality, ensuring compliance with evolving accounting and auditing standards, and acting as a subject matter expert for teams across the business. You'll work on a variety of technical areas and contribute to firm-wide initiatives, including ESG and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on UK GAAP, IFRS, FRS 102, and ISA's.
  • Offer day-to-day technical support to audit and accounting staff.
  • Support teams in effectively using Case Ware and data analytics software.
  • Keep abreast of technical developments and help cascade updates across the firm.
  • Assist in developing and delivering technical training.
  • Identify and drive improvements in audit and accounts processes.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects, including ESG initiatives.
