GPN Recruitment are working with a well‑established independent firm based in London who are recruiting for an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager.

This role is ideal for a qualified Assistant Manager or experienced Senior looking for progression and variety. The position offers a 70% audit focus, while also giving the opportunity to get involved in accounts preparation, advisory, tax or other areas of interest. You'll work with clients from a broad range of sectors – including Technology, Education, Manufacturing and more, including international businesses.

• Lead and manage audit assignments from planning to completion
• Supervise and review the work of juniors, providing training and feedback
• Prepare and review statutory accounts under UK GAAP
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact
• Support Partners with ad hoc client projects and advisory work

• ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Solid audit background within a UK accountancy practice
• Confident in managing audits and mentoring junior team members
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
