Accounts Payable

Right Now Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Temp to Perm Accounts Payable Assistant to join one of our established freight organisations based in Feltham. You will join their finance team on a temp-to-perm basis. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices within a fast-paced freight forwarding environment.

Job Title: Accounts Payable Assistant (Temp to Perm)
Location: Feltham
Hours: Monday - Friday
Salary: £30,000-£32,000 (dependent on experience)

• Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes, resolving discrepancies where required.
• Manage supplier queries via email and phone, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Prepare and process weekly and monthly payment runs.
• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate any variances.
• Post invoices, credit notes, and payments onto the accounting system.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Maintain accurate and well-organised financial records and documentation.
• Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties as required.

• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role, ideally within freight, logistics, or a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
• Good understanding of invoice processing and supplier reconciliations.
• Confident user of accounting systems.
• Proactive, reliable, and keen to secure a permanent position.
