Position: Part Time Bookkeeper – 3 days a week
Location: Greater London

Are you an experienced Bookkeeper or Senior Bookkeeper with at least 3 to 5 years relevant experience in industry or practice, looking to work part time, 3 days a week? Are you looking to work for a creative / media business which carries out editing for high profile films and TV programmes? Do you have experience of Xero, and either experience or a strong interest working in the creative / media sector?

Are you also looking to work for a firm which can be flexible with the number of days you work in the office? Based in Zone 1 Central London (City Location) and working in a firm of 25 staff, you will be the sole charge Bookkeeper at the firm and report directly into the external firm of accountants. Your Role will include: managing and recording all financial transactions of the business, journal entries, processing invoices, payment runs, maintaining the sales ledger and purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, general ledger management, banking, managing staff expenses, credit control, giving payroll information to the accountants to process, ensuring all month end journals are posted and any other duties as required by the business.

The role will start off being 3 days a week but the firm is open to the role expanding and involving the production of management accounts in the future.

To be considered for this new role (January 2026), it is likely you will be an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a part time role working three days a week that also offers flexible working arrangements and how often you come into the office. You must live within commutable distance to Zone 1 London and ideally you will have experience of using Xero software (although training can be provided).

You must be able to work in a sole charge role and have at least 3 to 5 years experience in a similar bookkeeping based position. The firm is happy to look at someone either from an industry or practice background, as well as someone who either has experience working in the media or creative sectors, or someone with a strong interest.

This high profile and very reputable media and creative based business is in need of a good quality, experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join their lively and growing business and maintain the financial transactions of the organisation. The office is friendly and supportive, and you will work in a small, friendly, close knit team. The role is expected to evolve over time and could include assuming more responsibility in areas such as VAT, payroll and management accounts and increasing the number of days worked to 4 or 5 days a week (if desired).

Overall this is a rare opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper, to work in an interesting and challenging part time role (three days a week) for a professional and highly respected Film & TV editing business which will provide you with a challenging yet rewarding hands on Bookkeeping position.
