Accounts Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Supervisor to join an established accountancy practice in Harrow
. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant to manage a client portfolio and develop leadership skills while earning £45,000 - £50,000
.

• Take responsibility for a portfolio of client accounts, reviewing work and ensuring quality
• Prepare statutory financial statements for various companies and organisations
• Manage corporation tax returns and personal tax compliance work
• Handle sole trader and partnership accounts, including tax filings
• Work with cloud accounting platforms, providing digital solutions to clients
• Guide, coach, and develop junior staff members
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to add value
• Support senior management with business development
• Take ownership of budgeting, billing, and recovery for assigned clients

Essential:

• ACA or ACCA qualified with minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience
• Solid accountancy practice background with strong technical knowledge
• Understanding of UK accounting standards and corporate tax requirements
• Hands-on experience with cloud accounting systems
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Desirable:

• Exposure to personal tax work
• People management experience
