Shift Information: Nights - 5 days x 8 hours

About the Position

Shift: 3rd Shift
Hours:
40 hours per week
Schedule:
5 days per week; every third week includes weekend coverage (with a day off before and after the weekend worked)

Required:
Minimum 1 year (from projected start date)

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive healthcare services in a secure medical environment. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, administering treatments, and supporting interdisciplinary healthcare operations.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties:
Conduct patient rounds and evaluate care needs
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications, including controlled substances
Provide direct nursing care to patients, including those who are bedridden
Leadership & Coordination:
Support emergency response efforts (e.g., Code Blue)
Supervise and guide assigned healthcare support staff
Act as shift lead when required
Assist physicians with diagnostic evaluations
Administrative Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and medications
Complete incident and required reports
Monitor and maintain inventory of medications and medical supplies
Coordinate appointments and prescription orders
Participate in meetings and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
Healthcare provider-level CPR certification
