Job Overview

Scan Scape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer (store). This permanent part‑time role offers workplace independence, some flexibility in hours, and job consistency.

Continuous physical activity occurs throughout the shift.

• Visit assigned local retailers every week, using a downloadable mobile app to scan barcodes in stores.
• Complete display scanning on the entire store each week; this may take several hours.
• Record quantity for approximately 45% of the products scanned.
• Complete custom projects as requested by clients; these may add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work for a store during a week.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of data to clients.
• Maintain a high standard of accuracy and reliability while working independently.

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods and to access products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline‑driven self‑starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech‑savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
