Simpson’s in the Strand, one of London’s most iconic dining institutions, is reopening under Jeremy King Restaurants. First established in 1828 as a coffee house and chess club, Simpson’s grew into a celebrated “grande dame”, renowned for its roasts carved from silver trolleys, illustrious guests, and rich cultural heritage in theatre, politics and literature. Today, this Grade II listed landmark is being carefully restored, blending timeless tradition with modern hospitality.
