Workzone Traffic Controllers

Due to growth within our company, a position has become available for experienced Traffic Controllers to join the BTR team.

Our depot is based Waterloo corner and works will be conducted at our site addresses in the Northern area. This position is on a full time permanent basis - immediate start available. We value long term tenure of our employees within our family company.

• Perform all tasks associated with traffic management for works
• Use of Stop/Slow Bat to control traffic
• Implement and monitor operational Traffic Management Plans
• Complete pre-start checklists / JSA
• Load and unload vehicles with signage and equipment
• Complete required paperwork
• Complete site hazard assessments and implement control measures to suit the site
• Monitor traffic behaviour and or flow to ensure safety is maintained at all times
• Obey instructions from team leaders, foremen, or inspectors and auditors
• Control traffic, pedestrians and cyclists to protect maintenance workers, work crews and members of the public

• Have a minimum of 1 year experience
• Current WZTM ticket Combined TC1 & TMI1 (Required)+ Combined TC2 + TMI2 Training (Highly Desirable)
• Construction industry White Card
• Be able to work on occasions weekends/night work
• Be flexible with start and finish times depending on site requirements
• MR License (desirable but not essential)
