The Mission:
We Need a Pro in the Air
Right now, we are specifically looking for an Experienced Overhead Door & Dock Technician
. While we love to teach, for this specific seat on the bus, we need a seasoned pro who knows their way around a torsion spring and a pit leveler. You’ll be the go-to expert in our Commercial Doors division (
Although we enjoy teaching, for this particular role, we require an experienced professional familiar with torsion springs and dock levellers. You will serve as the primary expert in our Commercial Doors division
).
Role focus
: Overhead Mastery — Expert installation, service, and repair of sectional doors, rolling steel, and high-speed doors.
Dock Specialists — Troubleshooting and maintaining dock levellers, seals, and related warehouse equipment.
The Hudson Standard — Bringing "Lead Tech" energy—taking ownership of the job site, diagnosing complex mechanical/electrical issues, and showing the junior guys how it’s done safely.

- Proven Experience: Significant hands-on experience specifically with commercial overhead doors and dock equipment.
- The Basics: Valid G license (clean abstract), ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders.
- Clean Record: Must be able to pass a police background check (required for high-security sites).
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using digital tools for notes, photos, and documentation.
- Travel: Available to occasionally travel out of town three or four times per year and remain overnight.
