Sidewalk Crew Member – Snow & Ice Control – Seasonal (Potential Full-Time) | Hourly pay based on experience
About the RoleWe handle snow and ice control for residential and commercial properties that demand consistent, detailed work. You’ll be part of a team that keeps sidewalks clear, safe, and maintained during winter storms—no shortcuts, no nonsense.
Responsibilities- Shovel, blow, and treat sidewalks with salt or deicer
- Operate sidewalk machines, blowers, and spreaders
- Load and unload equipment and materials
- Drive or ride in company vehicles along assigned routes
- Work under the direction of the team lead or company owner
- Log all work and vehicle inspections accurately
- At least 18 years of age
- G‑Class license with a clean record
- Reliable, disciplined, and ready for long hours in any weather
- Team‑focused with an eye for detail
- Comfortable operating small equipment
- Experience is a bonus, but we’ll train the right person
Licensing and additional equipment training are available for the right candidate—leading to higher pay and potential year‑round work with our summer operations.
Additional Info- Must have CSA‑approved (green triangle) winter work boots
- Winter jackets provided
- Vehicles must stay clean and MTO‑compliant; all damage or defects reported right away
- GPS and dash cameras are in place on all vehicles as a requirement from our insurance
