• Wire equipment to ensure all electrical parts are in working order, as per specifications.
• Panel building, machine wiring, drive programming, and machine testing.
• Set up and perform circuit tests.
• Provide technical assistance to engineering designers and shop personnel.
• Perform electrical maintenance throughout the facility as required.
• Test electrical equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electric code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
• Work knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Lock out tag out – an asset.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Will interact effectively and regularly with hourly operations employees including Production Leaders, Purchasing, Inventory.

• Education and/or
  
  Experience:
  
  Post‑secondary education; 3 or more years of previous experience in a related field; experience troubleshooting electrical control systems.
• Language
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong written and verbal communications; ability to interact clearly and confidently with all levels in the organization.
• Computer
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Electrical license (309A or 442A).
• Other
  
  Qualifications:
  
  Continuous improvement mindset; action oriented, strong sense of responsibility and execution mindset.
