Opportunity:
Facilities Technician

The Facilities Technician supports site operations by performing basic repairs, inspections, and preventative and corrective maintenance on facility infrastructure, production equipment, and systems. Working with the Asset Care and Projects teams, this role also assists with upgrades and projects, requiring a flexible, hands‑on, and solutions‑focused approach to ensure smooth and safe operations.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs, and upgrades to facility systems and equipment
  • Conduct routine inspections and report issues
  • Support scheduled and emergency maintenance
  • Assist contractors with fire, security, and building systems
  • Help with equipment moves and space reconfiguration
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Keep records using company software
  • Follow safety protocols and support improvements
  • Help manage inventory, tools and parts
What We’re Looking For
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life safety systems
  • 1–5 years of experience in building maintenance or construction (industrial/manufacturing/cannabis preferred)
  • Skilled with tools; able to perform basic repairs and assist tradespeople
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good organizational and basic computer skills (work orders, checklists, email)
  • Physically fit: lift up to 55 lbs, work at heights, in tight spaces, and varied indoor/outdoor conditions
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
  • Forklift experience is an asset
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
