Position: Security Guard - Huron College.

Description:Huron College is a post-secondary educational campus serving students, faculty, and staff, featuring academic buildings, residences, administrative offices, and common student spaces. Overtime Method

Averaging Agreement – calculating after 88 hours bi-weekly
Key responsibilities:
Implement security measures to protect property, control access to sites and ensure client rules and regulations are followedCheck In each student – confirm that they are in residence with Maintain confidentialityMaintain written reportsPerform security checks and liaise with students, customers and the publicEnsure site safety and emergency procedures are followed and maintain written reportsEnforce compliance to company policies and proceduresFirst Aid – be prepared to administer when requiredMaintaining a positive, productive work environmentPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedPrerequisites:
Valid Security License for the province of OntarioValid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)English (oral and written) fluency is a mustPrevious experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferredMust possess excellent customer service skillsSuperior written and verbal communication skillsWatch for and report irregularities by completing incident reports such as security breaches, facility safety hazards, and emergency situations; contact emergency services such as police, fire and ambulance personnel as required.Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the positionPlease be aware:
