Allied Universal® is hiring a Mobile Security Supervisor. The Mobile Security Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing a mobile security unit, encompassing leadership, coordination, client interaction, incident response, training, equipment maintenance, and compliance. The Mobile Security Supervisor will maintain a proactive approach in ensuring the safety and security of personnel, assets and premises under their supervision. The Supervisor will respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies or alarms, coordinating with appropriate authorities and stakeholders as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the mobile patrol security professionals, including scheduling, training, and performance management; provide leadership and guidance, coaching, mentoring, and enforcing company policies and procedures.
  • Implement crisis management protocols, including evacuation procedures, communication strategies, and resource allocation, to ensure the safety and security of personnel and assets.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, providing updates, and ensuring satisfaction with security services.
  • Monitor patrol routes and schedules to optimize coverage and response times, adjusting as needed to address emerging threats or vulnerabilities.
  • Coordinate with clients, property managers, and law enforcement agencies as needed to address security concerns and incidents.
  • Maintain accurate records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, and prepare detailed reports for management and clients.
  • Ensure that patrol vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition, reporting any issues or deficiencies for prompt resolution.
  • Stay informed about security trends, threats, and best practices, and make recommendations for enhancements to patrol procedures and protocols.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the mobile patrol unit, promoting teamwork, morale, and a strong commitment to safety and security.
  • Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas, including parking lots, premises, and other high-traffic areas, to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of personnel and property.
  • Interact with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance, directions, and information as needed while enforcing security policies.
  • Report any security incidents, accidents, or hazards immediately to supervisors or appropriate authorities, documenting observations and actions taken.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other security personnel to coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies effectively.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and relevant regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and security audits of client premises, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending security enhancements to mitigate risks.

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE)

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid drivers’ license - Class G licence with clear driver’s abstract.
  • Valid provincial Security Guard License.
  • Valid First aid and CPR.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in security operations.
