Shoe Co Store Manager
Job Overview
We’re looking for a Store Manager for our The Shoe Co. banner who will put their best foot forward. As a Store Manager at The Shoe Co., you will report to the District Manager and lead the store environment, fostering inclusivity and diverse customer connections. In this role, you will coach and lead the team to achieve in‑store sales, web orders, goals, recruiting, performance management, training, and development.
Your ability to problem‑solve, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, lead a dynamic team, and execute on operational excellence will be key to your success.
- Lead and maximize store business results by consistently creating exceptional customer experiences.
- Model a shopping experience that encourages responsive customer service, compelling merchandise presentation, and operational integrity.
- Maintain operational soundness by balancing company policies, procedures, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling.
- Recruit, manage, develop, and train top talent with a love of shoes.
- Achieve company objectives and enhance The Shoe Co. brand image by modeling our values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity/Humility.
- Develop and implement agile business plans to achieve results.
- Foster teamwork, collaboration, and change advocacy within the store and district.
- Maintain open lines of communication with Senior Operational Managers.
- Relevant post‑secondary education.
- Minimum 4 years of progressive retail supervisory experience.
- Proven success in achieving sales and profitability targets in large‑volume stores.
- Positive, energetic team player with strong leadership capability.
- Proven ability to motivate others.
- Proficiency in computer use: e‑mail, MS Word, Excel, or equivalent.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while creating a compelling customer experience.

Pay: $47,880 to $53,200 per year.
