The Original Cakerie is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician (Temporary) for our London location. Please note that this is a 3‑month contract position, and any extension will be contingent upon business needs.

• As a member of the QA team the Quality Assurance Technician will participate in the development and administration of the Original Cakerie Food Safety and Quality System.

• Process /product monitoring, evaluation and problem solving
• Develop and maintain product/process specifications, SOP’s
• Customer/consumer complaint evaluation
• Participate with new products team in specification development and new product implementation
• Conduct various audits to monitor conformance to regulatory and corporate requirements

• Perform finished product inspection as per the schedule and prepare reports.
• Measure and collect data for new and existing products.
• Assist with other QA Lab projects and functions as required.

• Work in the cold environment
• Able to safely lift and carry products weighing up to 15 kg
• Organized to prioritize multiple tasks and ready to learn new skills
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Afternoon or Night shift (various start times to be discussed)
• 3 days (Flexible days as needed)
