Registered Nurse – Guaranteed Hours

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver nursing care in accordance with clinical standards, organisational policies, and individual care plans.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate changes in client condition; escalare concerns when necessary.
  • Conduct initial home support visits to assess client needs and provide ongoing coverage when required.
  • Participate in the on‑call rotation, responding to after‑hours needs within the scope of the role.
  • Adhere to infection prevention practices, quality improvement activities, and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with the team, complete continuing education, and support proactive health & safety initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with current registration in Ontario (RN or RPN).
  • Accredited nursing degree and current CPR certification.
  • Clear criminal background check (with vulnerable‑sector screening), negative TB test, and valid driver’s licence, auto insurance and reliable vehicle.
  • Comfortable travelling throughout London, Middlesex, and Elgin counties; knowledge of community care settings preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to compassionate, client‑centred care.
  • Availability from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday‑Friday, and the ability to work every other weekend.
Travel Expectations

This role involves significant travel across the three counties. Mileage reimbursement is provided in accordance with Bayshore’s travel policies.

ON‑London (London, Middlesex County, Elgin County – service areas include North, South, East, West regions of London, as well as Strathroy, Komoka, Ilderton, Dorchester, Lucan, Thorndale, Mount Brydges, Parkhill, Kilworth, Arva, St. Thomas, Aylmer, Port Stanley, Port Burwell, West Lorne, Dutton, Belmont, Fingal).
