General Function
Reports to VP Marketing
Daily interaction with graphics team, German marketing manager
Monthly updates on Social Media strategy, content, messaging and best practices provided to European Distributors
- Develop and set the strategy and direction for social media platform mix working with best practice frameworks
- Organic and Paid Campaigns
- Develop & recommend strategy, content format, and posting tactics ensuring consistent brand messaging
- Plan and execute social media strategy and manage calendars, including scheduling, across all social platforms (Instagram, FB, YT)
- Recommend content / creative strategies for consumer email campaigns
- Schedule themes to develop and implement creative content for weekly DTC email campaigns
- Manage and brief internal creative team for channel specific creative
- Content, Format, Message, Call To Action (CTA), Links, etc.
- Implement weekly / daily posts on all channels as scheduled
- Monitor performance of posts and campaigns, tracking monthly
- Recommend changes to content and schedule based on performance metrics
- Manage, Monitor and Guide Creators and Influencers in North America on key messaging, content and creative development
- Monitor each active influencer ensuring delivery of agreed to content and social media posts
- Responsible for sharing Influencer creative / content with internal teams and retail partners
- Ensure Influencer content / creative is accessible by internal teams and retail partners
- Manage and implement email updates to Sales, EP’s and Retail Partners announcing new creative and content and updates to social media campaigns
- Set up format, process and structure to share North American social media content and posts with global stakeholders

- Set up format, process and structure to share North American social media content and posts with global stakeholders
- Follow Broil King global social media accounts to monitor messaging, content and tactics
- Identify and share relevant global social media posts & activity with North American stakeholders
- Develop format, process and structure to share global Broil King assets
- Contribute to setting KPIs and ongoing measurement and monthly updates
- Recommend improvements in creative, communication channels and program implementation based on KPI’s
- Identify whitespace opportunities to elevate & define distinct roles for content on each social platform
All aspects of marketing communications for the Broil King brand are to align with best practices and be guided by the goals of:
- Creating and sustaining consumer / customer brand awareness and interest in the Broil King brand as measured annually through research
- Optimizing exposure (reach and frequency) of the Broil King brand message to defined target audiences, balancing awareness with purchase intent / action (funnel management)
- Ensuring a consistent and relevant Broil King Brand experience for all stakeholders when interacting with the Brand
- Optimizing resources in executing the communications strategy and tactics
- Passion for social media and expertise with major social media platforms and social media management tools.
- Proficiency with digital media formats, and HTML.
- Excellent social listening skills.
- Strong understanding of historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space and social media best practices.
- Strong copywriting and copy editing skills.
- Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Highly organized and ability to multi task.
- Knowledge of Social Media metrics and analytics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Post-secondary diploma/degree, ideally in Marketing, Communications and specifically Social Media Communications
