- Social Media Specialist to work within our London, Ontario head office.

Status: This is a replacement position due to a recent vacancy.
Auburn Group located in London, Ontario, is looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our team on a full-time maternity leave contract for up until October 31, 2026 and will be responsible for for developing and executing engaging social media content, supporting marketing campaigns, and enhancing brand visibility across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate has a passion for digital marketing, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for design and branding.
This is an in-office position.
As the Social Media Specialist, you will:
- Manage the company’s multiple social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook, and Linked In.
- Plan, develop, and execute strategic content calendars aligned with marketing goals.
- Create high-quality photo, video, and graphic content for reels, posts, carousels, stories, and short-form video.
- Write compelling, on-brand captions that tell stories and drive audience engagement.
- Schedule, and publish, and optimize content across all social media platforms.
- Monitor social media trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
- Actively engage with online communities by responding to comments, and managing direct messages in a timely manner, professional manner.
- Track, analyze, and report key performance metrics to optimize social media efforts.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure strategy alignment and brand consistency.
- Support additional marketing initiative and projects as assigned.
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in social media marketing or content creation.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, best practices, and analytic tools.
- Proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Experience with photography is an asset.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Valid driver’s license.

Salary range for this position is $50,000.00- $55,000.00 per year. We offer the following benefits:
