Marketing Specialist
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. This is a new role and the ideal candidate will play a key role in driving brand awareness, developing impactful marketing strategies, and supporting business development initiatives within the benefits, retirement, and financial services sector. As a Marketing Specialist, you will oversee various marketing efforts, from digital marketing and content creation to campaign management and event coordination.
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with 3-5 years of marketing experience in financial services, eager to make a meaningful impact on a fast-paced and innovative team. Reporting to Education & Communications Lead.
- Develop original marketing concepts, copy, and visuals that captivate diverse audiences and strengthen brand awareness.
- Craft persuasive written and spoken communications in English and French, with additional languages strongly preferred.
- Design impactful presentations, blogs, newsletters, and educational resources that clearly communicate complex concepts.
- Coordinate webinars, industry events, and multimedia projects, overseeing both creative content and technical delivery.
- Track and analyze digital engagement, continuously refining messaging for different cultural and linguistic markets.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to produce strategic materials supporting lead generation and advisor success.
Salary Range: $50,, commensurate with experience.
Preferred Attributes- Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging messages tailored for bilingual and multilingual audiences.
- Experience coordinating and producing multi-lingual digital, video, or print content.
- Track record of recognizing and responding to cultural nuances in communications.
- University degree or college diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in creative content development and campaign execution within financial services or similar sectors.
- Advanced proficiency in English and French (oral and written required); additional language fluency is highly desirable.
- Exceptional storytelling ability, with a portfolio of work demonstrating advanced language, conceptual, and design skills.
- Proven experience managing communications for multiple audiences using varied formats and platforms.
- Strong understanding of compliance and accessibility standards in regulated financial services environments.
- High degree of self-motivation, innovative thinking, and continuous learning.
