Technical Specialist - Production Associate Floater
Job Description

We are seeking dedicated technical specialists to serve as 'floaters', capable of covering various 'production associate' roles such as assembly, testing, and polishing. In addition to performing these tasks, these individuals will conduct working interviews and assess where additional training is necessary.

• Serve as floaters, covering roles in assembly, testing, and polishing.
• Conduct working interviews and evaluate training needs.
• Perform soldering, assembly, and work with microscopes.
• Handle minute aspects of the job with precision.

• Proficiency in assembly, troubleshooting, electronic assembly, and electronic testing.
• Comfortable with soldering and using microscopes.
• Technician diploma or higher (technologist/engineer ideal).
• 1+ year of electronic manufacturing experience.

• Experience in a very custom environment.
• Experience working in a clean room.

The work environment is more akin to a laboratory than a traditional manufacturing facility. It is classified as Clean Room level 100, ensuring a climate‑controlled setting. Employees are required to wear full protective gear, including a hairnet, veil, and a head‑to‑toe suit.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WATERLOO, ON.

The pay range for this position is $21.30 - $21.30/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in WATERLOO,ON.
