Technical Specialist - Production Associate Job Description

We are seeking skilled Technical Specialists who will serve as "floaters" covering various "production associate" roles such as assembly, testing, and polishing. These specialists will also conduct working interviews and assess training needs for staff.

• Serve as a floater covering roles in assembly, testing, and polishing.
• Conduct working interviews to assess candidate fit.
• Identify and assess training needs for staff.
• Perform tasks involving soldering, assembly, and using microscopes.

• Technician background with relevant education.
• Proficiency in assembly, troubleshooting, electronic assembly, and electronic testing.
• Comfortable working with microscopes and performing precise tasks.

• Technician diploma is required; technologist or engineer degree is ideal.
• A minimum of 1 year of electronic manufacturing experience is required.
• Experience in a custom environment is preferred.
• Experience working in a clean room is a plus.

Work in a lab-like environment that is classified as a Clean Room level 100. The climate-controlled setting requires wearing full protective gear at all times, including a hairnet, veil, and full-body suit.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WATERLOO, ON.

The pay range for this position is $21.30 - $21.30/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in WATERLOO,ON.
