Reports To: Director, IST & Continuous Improvement

We are seeking an ERP Systems Coordinator to join our Information Systems and Technologies (IST) department at a growing real estate development organization in Waterloo. This role offers exceptional breadth of experience for someone looking to build a career at the intersection of business and technology, with comprehensive exposure to enterprise systems, business processes, and technology implementation.

As part of our IST department, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our technology environment, coordinating system implementations, and enabling end-users to maximize the value of our enterprise platforms. Key Responsibilities

ERP & Application Support (35-40%)

  • Provide first-level support for our ERP systems and business applications, including Home builder One (HB1), Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Yardi Breeze, and Salesforce
  • Deliver responsive, customer-focused service to end-users experiencing technical challenges
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets, troubleshoot user issues, and collaborate with team members to resolve technical challenges
  • Build strong relationships with users across the organization to understand their needs and provide tailored support
  • Triage and elevate complex issues to appropriate technical specialists
  • Develop deep knowledge of our systems and business processes to provide increasingly independent support over time
  • Support reporting requests and data analysis needs using tools like Power

    BI and system-generated reports

Projects & Implementations (30-35%)

  • Coordinate project activities including scheduling, documentation, and stakeholder communication
  • Serve as subject matter expert on specific applications and tools as expertise develops
  • Lead training and user adoption efforts for new system implementations
  • Take ownership of implementation work streams and technical components as skills and knowledge grow
  • Facilitate testing, user acceptance, and change management activities
  • Support the successful delivery of system enhancements and new technology rollouts

Documentation & User Enablement (20-25%)

  • Create and maintain clear, user-friendly documentation including how-to guides, process workflows, and training materials
  • Deliver training sessions to end-users on system features, updates, and best practices
  • Ensure documentation remains current as systems evolve and business processes change
  • Develop resources that empower users to self-serve and reduce repetitive support requests

Process Improvement (10-15%)

  • Analyze current-state business processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
  • Recommend solutions to streamline workflows and enhance system utilization

    Participate in process mapping and documentation activities
  • Support the implementation of efficiency initiatives across the organization
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand pain points and develop practical improvements
  • Support additional IST initiatives and responsibilities as needed to meet departmental objectives
Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 – 3 years of experience working with ERP or applications technology in a business context
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Eagerness to learn new systems and technologies
