As an Employee Experience Specialist, you will play a key role in creating meaningful programs, activities, events, and initiatives that strengthen Equitable’s culture and drive employee engagement. In this role, you will support employees throughout every stage of the employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to career development and offboarding—helping the organization attract, develop, and retain top talent.
You will also contribute directly to advancing Equitable’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by shaping and sustaining initiatives that foster an inclusive and supportive workplace. Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement. In this role, the Employee Experience Specialist will be required to work more than the minimum requirement in office.
Whatyou’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resource Development or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience with rewards and recognition, culture development and/or diversity, equity and inclusion
- Strong influencer with a track record of positive work culture initiatives
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Strong organizational skills and high level of attention to detail
- Strong consultative and collaborative approach
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve practical problems
- Resourceful, results-oriented with a people-first and agile mindset
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Strong data analytic skills - experience in measuring and evaluating impact experience
- French as a second language is an asset

Your base pay will be based on your skills, qualifications, experience and education. In addition to your salary, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive award tied to business performance, plus a wide range of competitive benefits.
