We are looking for an Analyst to join the Investment, Risk & Control (IRC) team. This is a full‑time in‑office role based in London, Ontario.
As an Analyst, you will directly support the stability and growth of the Bank’s high‑performing product offerings while focusing on pre‑funding risk analysis, legal documentation review, transaction processing, and audit and portfolio management. Your insights relating to financial statements, commercial credits and collateral analysis will help guide key decisions on lease and loan transactions. Additionally, your ability to conduct comprehensive due diligence will be central to identifying and mitigating risk across the Bank’s portfolio.
This is a collaborative role, as you will work closely with the VP, IRC, VP, Structured Finance, Account Managers, and Sellers to ensure appropriate standards and compliance protocols are met.
Primary Responsibilities- Audit tranches for compliance with approved legal and security content and structural parameters for each Seller.
- Follow documented procedures for Seller audits, which includes identification and follow‑up protocols for deficiencies or issues.
- Participate in the funding audit cycle, with an emphasis on ensuring that Seller Portfolios are in compliance with approved policies and parameters.
- Prepare funding packages while ensuring that all documents have been obtained (i.e., purchase summaries and waivers), are signed and dated as required.
- Identify and flag contracts or transactions that do not meet the eligibility requirements of the program.
- Communicate audit findings clearly while ensuring that responses adequately identify the risks and/or issues.
- Maintain detailed records of tranche due diligence findings and decisions.
- Monitor exposures within each Seller’s program to ensure compliance with MPSA requirements.
- Ensure funding packages are complete, signed off, and submitted in a timely manner to ensure same‑day value of wire transfers.
- Assist with improving efficiencies in the audit process of each Seller.
- Provide support to the reporting and credit teams as needed.
- Business degree or related post‑secondary education, and/or relevant work experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar or related role.
- Experience and understanding of US and CAD securitization and leasing would be an asset.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office products, and the ability to learn new systems.
- Self‑starter with strong time management skills and the ability to multi‑task.
