Position: U5MNG8 Senior Account Analyst
Location: Southwestern Ontario

Meta IT Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering our account systems, preparing, analyzing, and verifying financial information to support decision-making and ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards.

This role requires advanced knowledge of SAP and Quick Books accounting systems. Interaction with our headquarters in Brazil is essential to ensure compliance in all transnational transactions. Knowledge of Brazilian accounting and tax regulations is an asset.

Responsibilities include:

Plan and administer our accounting systems (SAP S4 Hana, All Strategy, and Quick Books).

Prepare financial information and reports for management, stakeholders, and government filing requirements.

Examine accounting records and prepare financial statements.

Conduct Variance Analysis and report findings.

Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal control.

Develop and maintain cost finding, reporting, and internal control procedures.

Analyze financial records and provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings with recommendations for improvement.

Examine financial accounts and records, and assist in the preparation of income tax returns from accounting records.

Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices.

Oversee Payroll processing.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of experience.
Proven knowledge and experience in SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD) and Quick Books.
Knowledge of All Strategy Financial Management Software.
Ability to review, analyze, and comprehend complex financial information, perform quality assurance, and prepare formal financial reports.
Understanding of Brazilian taxes is an asset.
Ability to speak English;
Portuguese is an asset.

Wage: CAD $38.72 hourly / 40 hours per week, approximately CAD $80,537.60 per annum.
